About Me

Most of the people reading this already know me but just incase you happen to stumble upon here and want to know about me.

My name is Madeline, I am 20 years old, and I have a thing for baking.  I have a passion for the environment, I love children, I like working in events, I love baking, and I really enjoy organizing. I have a lot of different passions, as you can see, that don’t really coincide with each other so this is my attempt to keep my love for baking alive.

I’ve had no training in pastries or cooking, I do this all because I love it. You’ll see all my mistakes because that is what helps me learn. I can’t just only post about the things that go right, how boring would that be! I hope you enjoy my journey as much as I do! 🙂

The Project:

I love baking but with school and work I hardly have time or the energy to bake when I get home. I have a ton of cook books that my amazing sister-in-law gave to me but I have sadly hardly baked anything out of them. I’ve decided, in efforts to do things for myself, that every Thursday night I will attempt a new recipe out of the many recipe books or blogs that I subscribe to.  I may slip and miss a week, but I promise I usually have a decent excuse :).

Feel free to contribute to my adventure by suggesting things and letting me know what you think! 😀

    HI Madeline:
This is Logan and Devan Rouse’s mom Laurel. Devan told me about your blog. It’s wonderful. The recipes look amazing. Good for you! What fun. I am going to forward your site to my sister and her two girls who love to bake. I may even try some myself. Please give my best to your mom!
